Laugh out loud school fun

SCREW LOOSE by CHRIS WHEAT

GENRE: COMEDY

INTEREST LEVEL: YEARS 11, 12

“Screw Loose” should be recommended reading for all Year 12 students during exam time. It is hilarious fun with a cast of truly wacky characters: from the girl who was brought up by dingoes (and likes to catch rabbits in her mouth), to the Muslim girl with OCD (who washes her boyfriend’s shoelaces), to the Principal who thinks that the best way to show support for the gay students in his school is to play Elton John music at lunch time. It all comes to a riotous conclusion at the school social which is meant to unite the local private and public school students… or is there another reason behind the social event of the year? Read the book to find out. And have a great laugh, too.

Screw Loose is the sequel to Loose Lips (another great read).

Highly Recommended (dma). *****
